Founded in 2015, Reid & Wright design and make handcrafted mirrors, working with traditional techniques and offering bespoke gesso finishes.

Our tulip wood frames are made in the Cotswolds by highly skilled framers using traditional processes. Each mirror is hand finished in our London workshop, we mix our gesso to a traditional recipe, and this forms the base for all our finishes, applied in finely sanded layers to create a smooth base, ready for finishing.

We offer a wide range of finishes from chalky gesso, to traditional gold and silver metal leaf, highly polished bone, warm ebony black, our new tortoiseshell finish, and our best-selling bespoke colour finish, which can be any colour you choose.

Our mirror glass is antiqued by hand in London, and our convex glass is traditionally slumped in a kiln, to give a gently curved reflection.
